Insecticides are substances used to kill insects. They include ovicides and larvicides used against insect eggs and larvae, respectively. Insecticides are used in agriculture. Insecticides are claimed to be a major factor behind the increase in the 20th-century’s agricultural productivity. Nearly all insecticides have the potential to significantly alter ecosystems; many are toxic to humans and/or animals; some become concentrated as they spread along the food chain. Insecticides can be classified into two major groups: systemic insecticides, which have residual or long term activity; and contact insecticides, which have no residual activity.INSECTICIDES

Alpha- Cypermethrin 50% EC. Non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Acts on the central and peripheral nervous system in very low doses used to control wide range of chewing and sucking insects (particularly Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera) in Cereals, citrus, apple, pears, apricots, cabbage, potatoes, Turnip and peas.

Beta-Cyfluthrin 2.5% EC. Non systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Cypermethrin 10% EC. Diazinon 60% EC. Lufenuron 5 % EC. A selective specialized insecticide, that works through the stomach. Abamectin 1.8% EC.
