Quality Policy
In addition, MEDMAC management and staff are committed to providing products and services that suit the needs, wants and expectations of customers, all of that through abiding to local and international laws and policies that are in direct relation to company processes and products. This was assured through the implementation of the ISO 9001:2008 quality systems, which is subject to continuous review as a tool of development. ISO 9001:2008 is applied as a quality management system in parallel with applying GMP standards in the veterinary division. Furthermore, the company was granted the Jordan quality mark (JQM) for its pesticide products by the Jordan Institute of Standardization and Metrology (JISM).
The responsibility of the quality management is to build the appropriate quality system and to then take actions to make sure that MEDMAC products satisfy the given requirements for quality.
This is obtained through Quality assurance and Quality control and through incorporating GMP requirements for veterinary pharmaceuticals and FAO specifications for pesticides, which MEDMAC factory always follows very strictly.
Quality Assurance
“Quality assurance” is a wide-ranging concept covering all matters that individually or collectively influence the quality of a product. It is the totality of the arrangements made with the object of ensuring that all products are of the quality required for their intended use. Quality assurance incorporates GMP and other factors to achieve that. Here at MEDMAC the concept of “Quality assurance” is implemented to the maximum!
QA highly skilled teamwork to ensure that;
• Products are designed and developed in a way that takes account of the requirements of international standards.
• Production and control operations as specified in written forms according to too GMP and other requirements are adopted.
• Arrangements are made for the manufacture, supply, and use of the correct starting and packaging materials.
• All necessary controls on starting materials, intermediate products, and bulk products, and other in-process controls, calibrations, and validations are carried out.
The finished product is correctly processed and checked, according to the defined procedures prelude to its release to the market in accordance with the requirements of marketing authorizations and any other regulations.
This is all achieved mainly through issuing written procedures that cover all aspects related to making quality products, conducting self-inspection and/or quality audit that regularly appraises the effectiveness and applicability of the quality assurance system; and last but not least continues revision and improvement of the quality system.
QUALITY CONTROL
In MEDMAC, there is an effective quality control department run by highly skilled personnel, who are responsible for implementing our quality control system.
Adequate laboratory facilities are available to facilitate the work of the quality control department. Environmentally-controlled labs are available, a chemistry lab, a chromatography lab, and a microbiology lab, in addition to the offices and archives. All labs equipped with the latest equipment; HPLCs, GC, IR, UV, and many more.
The QC department is mainly responsible for the analysis, approval, or rejection of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Through the microbiology lab, they also control the environment of the factory and make sure that all regulations concerning sanity and hygiene that involve machinery, floors, walls, and personnel are implemented within and outside production processes.
All analytical methods used by the QC department are according to international pharmacopeias (USP, BP, and EURP). In addition, all the reference standards used in the tests are pharmacopoeial. Likewise, analytical methods of pesticides strictly follow CIPAC and adhere to FAO specifications.

In MEDMAC, a well-equipped lab is dedicated to formulation work, using the best resources, high-quality starting materials, and modern formulation techniques, R&D personnel develop a new formulation and continuously improve on old products to accommodate the needs of farmers and keep pace with the changing aspects of disease and pests.
